The weather is certainly not cooperating with us as we are trying to get the course back in shape after its winters nap. We are about 2 weeks behind a "normal" year and 4 weeks behind last years early start. The turf has been slow to green up and start growing with the colder temperatures, but we are pushing on and mowing in-between the rain and snow.

# 4 Green
The new putting green on #4 is now open for play. Although, we ask that you do not play from the approach because the new seedlings are still tender. We have the old #4 green area under a turf cover to speed up its growth rate so it will reach maturity as quickly as possible. The cover acts somewhat similar to a greenhouse by increasing the soil temperatures as well as preventing erosion from heavy rainfall. In reference to this picture the area shaded in red will be played as ground under repair. (Rule 25-1-b[i]) You may pick up your ball and drop it without penalty within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief.
